May 12, 2014 - Houston police are awaiting autopsy results in the death of an individual found following a fatal house fire at 15915 Chimney Rock about 11:20 p.m. on Sunday (May 11).

The identity of the victim is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.  

HPD Homicide Division Senior Police Officer T. Andrade and Officers T. Colbert and S. Overstreet reported:

The Houston Fire Department responded to a house fire at the above address.  After the fire was extinguished, the victim was discovered deceased in a bedroom.  No evidence of foul play was immediately apparent.
