March 17, 2014 - Houston police are investigating a fatal traffic accident at 13200 Alief Clodine about 12:40 a.m. on Sunday (March 16).

The identity of the male victim, 21, is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant J. Roberts and Officer B. Collins reported:

The victim was driving a maroon Toyota Camry eastbound on Alief Clodine when the vehicle left the roadway and struck a pole.  A witness reported the victim was driving at a high rate of speed.  The victim, who was not wearing a seat belt, was pronounced dead at the scene.
