Composite Sketch of Suspect Wanted in Fatal Shooting at 9800 Westpark
June 20, 2014 - Houston police homicide investigators have released a composite sketch of a suspect wanted in the fatal shooting of a man at 9800 Westpark about 3 a.m. today (June 20).
The suspect is described only as a black male believed to be in his 20s, about 6 feet 2 inches tall and weighing about 250 pounds. A composite sketch of the suspect is attached to this news release.
The identity of the victim, 23, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Officers S. Overstreet, T. Colbert and I. Duplechain reported:
The victim and several individuals got into an altercation while in a nightclub at the above address. The argument carried out into the parking lot where multiple shots were fired. The victim was struck and pronounced dead at the scene. A number of unknown suspects fled the scene in unknown vehicles. Several witnesses observed the argument and subsequent shooting.
