June 9, 2014 - Houston police are investigating a fatal traffic accident at 7900 South Gessner about 10:15 p.m. on Saturday (June 7).
The male victim was transported to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead. His identity is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant T. Trometer and Officer J. Crisler reported:
The victim was operating a Kawasaki motorcycle when he made an unsafe lane change directly in front of a silver Chrysler Sebring. The driver of the Sebring could not stop in time and struck the motorcycle, forcing it into the rear of a green Chevrolet Venture.
The drivers remained at the scene and there are no charges in this incident.
