July 14, 2014 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 8112 Howard about 3:05 a.m. on Sunday (July 13).

The victim, Joe Rodriguez, 36, of the above address, suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant M. McStravick and Officer T. Colbert reported:

Mr. Rodriguez was in the front yard of his home when he was shot more than once by a suspect described only as a Hispanic male. The male then fled the scene. At this time, there is no known motive for the shooting.
