The male victim, 43, suffered severe lacerations and was transported to Memorial Hermann Southwest Hospital where he was treated for his injuries.

The victim stopped at a convenience store at 6060 West Bellfort and was approached by the two suspects asking for money.  When the victim told them he didn't have any, both suspects became confrontational and followed the victim into the store.  As the victim left the store, both suspects assaulted him with a tire iron and then took money from his pocket.  The suspects then fled the scene in a white vehicle of unknown make or model.
