January 02, 2014 - Houston police have learned the identity of a man who was fatally shot at 5500 Antoine about 1:45 a.m. on Tuesday (Dec. 31).  

Jovan Cerone Green, 23, was transported to Memorial Hermann Hospital where he was pronounced dead.   

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant J. Parker and Senior Police Officer S. Straughter reported:  

Mr. Green was shot in the 5500 block of Antoine by an unknown suspect(s).  He then ran to an apartment complex at 5555 Antoine.  HFD paramedics responded to the scene and transported him to the hospital where he died.
