February 26, 2014 - Houston police have released surveillance video and a composite sketch of a suspect wanted in an attempted abduction of three juveniles at 6400 West Airport Boulevard about 3:25 p.m. on February 12.
The suspect is described only as a black male, 20 to 30 years of age, bald, with a skinny build and a mustache. He was last seen driving a 2003 to 2007 four-door, light blue or silver sedan, possibly a Nissan Sentra, with faded paint on the roof.
A composite sketch and photos of the wanted suspect and his vehicle are attached to this news release. Surveillance video of the suspect vehicle can be viewed on the HPD YouTube Channel at https://youtu.be/OXAy_iIowfM
On Wednesday, Feb. 12, three juvenile females were walking home from Forester Elementary School in the 12300 block of Sandpiper. As they approached the intersection of West Airport, the suspect approached them in his vehicle and repeatedly attempted to get them to get into his vehicle by offering them a ride. As the juveniles crossed West Airport, the suspect continued to follow them, then pulled ahead and stopped along the curb near the sidewalk the girls were walking on. The suspect again told the girls to get into his vehicle. The girls immediately ran to their apartment complex.
