December 26, 2014 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 10905 Bellaire Boulevard about 1:45 a.m. today.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant M. McStravick and Senior Police Officer T. Andrade reported:

HPD patrol officers responded to the NYX Lounge at the above address and found the victim deceased inside the business. According to witnesses, a loud noise thought to be a bar stool falling to the ground was heard. Employees went to investigate and found the victim lying on the bathroom floor. Further investigation determined he had been shot.
