December 26, 2014 - The fatal shooting of a male at 4130 Woodwind Lane about 11:35 p.m. on Wednesday (Dec. 24) will be referred to a Harris County grand jury.

The identity of the deceased male suspect is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Officers M. Arroyo and Officer S. Overstreet reported:

An armed male suspect entered the residence at the above address and attempted to rob the residents. The homeowner confronted and shot the suspect, who was pronounced dead at the scene.
