December 1, 2014 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 5900 Rampart about 12:25 a.m. on Saturday (Nov. 29).

The victim, Jose Reyna Moreira, 25, of the above address, was pronounced dead at the scene.

HPD Homicide Division Officers M. Dykens and J. Young reported:

HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting call at an apartment complex at the above address. Upon arrival, they discovered Mr. Moreira deceased. Witnesses reported seeing two possible suspects flee the scene on foot. Both suspects are described only as black males. One was approximately 6 feet tall, wearing a white shirt and blue jeans. The other male was approximately 5 feet 7 inches tall, wearing a white shirt and khaki pants.
