The victim was driving a stolen maroon Ford Focus at a high rate of speed southbound on Calhoun. He apparently lost control of the vehicle in the 6400 block of Calhoun, causing the Ford to go into a wooded area and catch fire. The driver died at the scene. Two passengers were transported to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
