September 26, 2013 - Houston police have released surveillance photos of a vehicle used by four suspects wanted in the fatal shooting of a man at 3800 Canfield #901 about 1 p.m. on Wednesday (Sept. 25).
The victim, Billy Chatman, 70, of the above address, was pronounced dead at the scene.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant C. Howard and Officer R. Lujan reported:
Mr. Chatman met with two unknown male suspects inside his apartment. At some point, Chatman was shot. Both suspects fled the scene in a charcoal or dark gray sport utility vehicle in dirty condition, possibly a Nissan Armada, with light window tint and paper license plates.
Surveillance photos of the suspects' vehicle are attached to this news release.
The suspects are described only as two Hispanic males. One is about 5 feet 4 inches tall with very short black hair. He has a Houston Texans logo tattoo on the inside of his left forearm that he may have received in the Pasadena area. He was last seen driving a black Nissan vehicle with Houston Texans logos on the top corners of the front and back windshields. The vehicle may also have a Houston Texans logo flag attached.
The second suspect is about 5 feet 7 inches tall with short hair and a light brown skin tone. He has noticeable scars on his right cheek and possible scars on his left cheek as well.
A third suspect, described as a Hispanic male with short hair, possibly wearing glasses or sunglasses, was seen driving the Nissan Armada. The fourth suspect, in the front passenger seat of the Armada, is described as a possible Hispanic female with long, curly hair. She was wearing rings and had bracelets on her right arm.
