September 23, 2013 - Houston police are investigating a fatal traffic accident at 3200 Old Spanish Trail about 2:30 a.m. on Sunday (Sept. 22).
The identity of the deceased male victim, 31, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant D. Arnold and Officer M. Aldana reported:
The victim was a pedestrian standing on the median at the Old Spanish Trail and Highway 288 intersection when he was struck by the driver of a gold Nissan Murano. He was transported to Memorial Hermann Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
The driver of the Murano was questioned and released from the scene. No charges have been filed as the investigation continues.
