September 05, 2013 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man found at 7600 Boone Road about 7:15 a.m. on Wednesday (Sept. 4).  

The victim, Jose De Jesus Parra Zepeda, 37, of Houston, was pronounced dead at the scene.  

HPD Homicide Division Senior Police Officer R. Martinez reported:  

A passerby was driving northbound in the 7600 block of Boone Road when he saw Mr. Parra Zepeda lying in the grass near the roadway.  He then called 9-1-1.  HFD paramedics responded to the scene and pronounced Parra Zepeda deceased.  It is believed Parra Zepeda was shot at the location.  

At this time, there is no known motive nor suspect (s).
