Fatal Traffic Accident at 10300 Homestead
October 15, 2013 - Houston police are investigating a fatal traffic accident at 10300 Homestead about 6:30 a.m. today.
The identity of the deceased male victim, 27, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant A. Francois and Officer C. Long reported:
Witnesses stated a white Jeep Laredo was traveling south on Homestead when it struck a bicyclist (victim) attempting to cross the roadway. The bicyclist was transported to LBJ Hospital where he was pronounced dead. The driver of the Jeep was questioned and did not exhibit any signs of intoxication. No charges are filed in the accident.
The investigation is continuing.
