October 2, 2013 - Houston police are investigating a fatal traffic accident at 10510 Okanella about 12:05 p.m. today.

The identity of the deceased male victim is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant A. Francois and Officer R. Klementich reported:

Witnesses stated the victim was driving a gray Nissan Altima at a high rate of speed in a private parking lot at the above address when he lost control of the vehicle and struck a fixed object. Paramedics arrived and pronounced the driver dead at the scene.

There were no other persons or vehicles involved in the accident.
