November 19, 2013 - Houston police are investigating a fatal traffic accident at 4200 Southwest Freeway (South U. S. Highway 59) about 9:15 a.m. today (Nov. 19).  

The male victim, 35, was pronounced dead at the scene.  His identity is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.  

HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant A. Francois and Officer J. Perrotte reported:  

According to witnesses, the victim was operating a green Kawasaki motorcycle at a high rate of speed and weaving in and out of traffic at the above location.  The motorcycle then struck the left side of a tractor-trailer truck, killing the motorcyclist.
