November 12, 2013 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of one man and wounding of another at 11600 Lima about 10:15 p.m. last Saturday (Nov. 9).  

One male, Antonio Castellanos, 49, of the above address, was pronounced dead at the scene.  The other male, Reynaldo Lopez, 39, of Fresno, Texas, was transported to Ben Taub General Hospital in critical condition.  

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant T. Biggs and Senior Police Officer R. Bolton reported:  

Mr. Castellanos and Mr. Lopez were standing in front of Castellanos' residence when a black Chevrolet Silverado "Texas Edition" pickup truck drove down Lima at a high rate of speed.  The truck then stopped near Castellanos, who was standing in the street.  Several shots were fired from the passenger side of the vehicle, striking both men.  Castellanos died at the scene, while Lopez was taken to the hospital.
