November 4, 2013 - Houston police are investigating a fatal hit-and-run accident in the 11000 block of Airline Drive about 10:20 p.m. on Saturday (Nov. 2).

The identity of the male victim, 48, is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant C. Nickerson and Officer K. Hines reported:

The victim was attempting to cross the street at the above address when he was struck by a black Dodge Magnum with dark tinted windows.  The driver of the Magnum did not stop.  The victim was transported to Ben Taub General Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
