March 02, 2012 - Houston police are asking for the public's help in locating a person of interest wanted for questioning in the fatal shooting of a man and a woman at 7127 Bahia Lane found about 8:40 a.m. today (March 2).
The person of interest is identified as Keith Turner (b/m, DOB: 8-25-67). Turner is described as about 6 feet 4 inches tall and weighs more than 300 pounds. He walks with a noticeable limp in his left leg and has a chipped front tooth. A 2008 photo of Turner, who has not been charged in this crime, is attached to this news release.
The deceased male and female suffered gunshot wounds and were pronounced dead at the scene. Their identities are pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant B. Williams and Officer J. Horn reported:
A 9-1-1 call was placed from the above address after a family member found the victims unresponsive inside the residence. HFD emergency personnel arrived and pronounced both victims dead from gunshot wounds.
Further investigation determined the victims' vehicle, a 2001 black, four-door Dodge Dakota pickup truck with Texas license plates BLS-7589, was missing. Investigators then identified Turner as a person of interest in this case. Turner has not been charged in this incident however he is believed to be possibly armed and dangerous.
