July 29, 2013 - Houston police are investigating a fatal traffic accident in the 1900 block of West Lake Houston Parkway about 1:30 p.m. on July 25.

The identity of the female victim, 86, is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.  

HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant I. Izaguirre and Officer R. Price reported:

The victim failed to yield the right of way at the intersection of West Lake Houston Parkway and Magnolia Cove and was involved in a crash. She was then transported to Memorial Hermann Northwest Hospital.  Doctors pronounced her dead on Saturday (July 27).  No other persons were injured in this accident.  

The investigation is continuing.
