July 8, 2013 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man and wounding of a female at 12261 Fondren about 9:55 p.m. on Saturday (July 6).  

The deceased victim, Kurtrivas Carmouch, 23, of the above address, was pronounced dead at the scene.  The female victim suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was transported to Ben Taub General Hospital in an unknown condition.

HPD Homicide Division Officers T. Ferguson and J. Saldana reported:  

According to witnesses, Mr. Carmouch and the female victim were shot by two unknown male suspects, one carrying a pistol and the other a rifle.  

The suspects are described only as two black males.  

At this time, the motive for the shooting is unknown.
