February 19, 2012 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting and robbery of a male at 5307 Telephone about 4:40 p.m. on Monday (Feb. 19).

The victim, Hamid Warrich, 62, was transported to Memorial Hermann Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant R. Torres and Officer D. Fontenot reported:

Two unknown male suspects entered a Boost Mobile cell phone store at the above address and demanded money. During the robbery Mr. Warrich, the store's owner, was shot. The suspects are described only as two unknown males wearing masks over their faces.
