December 31, 2013 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a male at 5500 Antoine about 1:45 a.m. today.

The victim was transported to Memorial Hermann Hospital where he was pronounced dead. His identity is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant J. Parker and Senior Police Officer S. Straughter reported:

The victim was shot in the 5500 block of Antoine by an unknown suspect(s). He then ran to an apartment complex at 5555 Antoine. HFD paramedics responded to the scene and transported him to the hospital where he died.
