Update: Suspect Charged, Wanted in Fatal Shooting at 6024 Bobby Burns
December 30, 2013 - Charges have been filed against a suspect wanted in the fatal shooting of a man at 6024 ½ Bobby Burns about 2 a.m. on Dec. 26.
The suspect, Brandon M. Jackson (b/m, DOB: 10-2-95), is charged with murder in the 182nd State District Court. He is accused in the killing of Ronalee Deandre McGuire, 35, of the above address. Mr. McGuire suffered gunshot wounds and died at the scene.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant M.A. Holbrook and Officer V. McLean reported:
Officers responded to a shooting in-progress call at the above address and found Mr. McGuire inside his residence. He suffered one or more gun shot wounds. Paramedics arrived and pronounced McGuire dead. Witnesses stated McGuire's girlfriend and an unknown male left the location after they heard the gun shots.
Further investigation and witness statements identified Jackson as the suspect in this case. He is currently at large.
