December 23, 2013 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 9700 Mesa about 3:40 p.m. on Sunday (Dec. 22).

The male victim, believed to be in his 30s was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Senior Police Officer C. Scales and Officer T. Ferguson reported:

The deceased victim was found in the laundry area. There are no known suspects or motive in this case.
