December 9, 2013 - Houston police are awaiting autopsy results in the death of a female found at 1900 Sam Wilson about 5:35 a.m. last Saturday (Dec. 7).

The identity of the unknown female is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant W. Elsbury and Senior Police Officer T. Tyler reported:

The female collapsed while walking in the 1900 block of Sam Wilson. HFD paramedics responded to the scene and transported her to Lyndon B. Johnson Hospital where she was pronounced dead.

There were no signs of physical trauma and, at this time, foul play is not suspected.

The investigation is pending the female's cause of death.
