Investigation into Infant's Death at 7402 Calhoun
April 15, 2013 - Houston police are awaiting autopsy results in the death of an infant found at 7402 Calhoun about 9:50 a.m. last Saturday (April 13).
The two-month-old male was pronounced dead at the scene.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant H. Garcia and Officer C. Cardenas reported:
The baby was found unresponsive in his crib by family members. Family members called 9-1-1 and performed CPR, however the child was pronounced dead by responding HFD paramedics. Further investigation determined the twin sister of the victim shared the same crib but was unharmed.
The investigation is continuing, pending the baby's cause of death, to be determined by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
