April 8, 2013 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 14320 South Post Oak Road about 3:45 a.m. on Saturday (April 6).

The victim, Federico Rolando Garza, 39, of Houston, was pronounced dead at the scene.

HPD Homicide Division Senior Police Officers M. Miller and T. Miller reported:

Mr. Garza was operating a barbeque stand near the above address when an unknown suspect(s) apparently attempted to rob him. During the course of the incident, Garza was shot in the head. The suspect(s) fled in an unknown direction.
