September 10, 2012 - Houston police are awaiting autopsy results in the death of a man found at 7000 Antoine about 12:10 p.m. on Sunday (Sept. 9).

The identity and cause of death of the victim are pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant J. Padilla and Senior Police Officer R. Bolton reported:

Witnesses riding on a bike trail saw a body in White Oak Bayou and called police.   HPD patrol found the victim lying in the bayou about 90 feet east of Antoine.  The HPD Dive Team responded to the scene and recovered the victim.

The investigation is pending the victim's cause of death.
