September 6, 2012 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man found at 1500 State Highway 6 South about 6 a.m. today (Sept. 6).

The victim was transported to Ben Taub General Hospital where he was pronounced dead.  His identity is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant G. Gonzales and Senior Police Officer X. Avila reported:

According to witnesses, the victim was seen being thrown out of a gray Chrysler Pacifica at the above address.  The vctim then walked to a gas station.  HFD paramedics were called and transported the victim to the hospital where he died from multiple gunshot wounds.
