October 25, 2012 - Investigators in the Houston Police Department's Robbery Division are asking for the public's help in identifying a suspect wanted in a robbery at 11807 Westheimer about 11:55 a.m. on Sept. 17.

The suspect is described only as a black male, 35 to 40 years old, about 5 feet 9 inches tall and 200 pounds. He was wearing eye glasses and a mechanic-style shirt. Surveillance photos of the suspect are attached to this news release.

The suspect entered the Game Stop at the above address and requested to purchase an item. The employee got the item for him and rang up the purchase. As the employee opened the register, the suspect produced a pistol and demanded all the money from the register. Fearing for his life, the employee complied. The suspect then fled the scene, but it is not known if he fled on foot or in a vehicle.
