May 21, 2012 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 11700 Bissonnet about 9:25 p.m. on Sunday (May 20).

The victim, 22, of the above address, suffered a gunshot wound to the head and was pronounced dead at the scene.  His identity is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeants T. Biggs, M. Countryman and Senior Police Officers T. Miller and K. Lovelace reported:

The victim was walking through the apartment complex at the above address, on the way to a convenience store, when he was shot in the head.  An unknown suspect was seen fleeing the scene on foot.
