March 16, 2012 - The aggravated assault of a man at 16000 El Toro Court about 11:45 p.m. on Thursday (March 15) will be referred to a Harris County grand jury.

Jesus P. Caballero, 17, suffered head trauma and was transported to Memorial Hermann Hospital in an unknown condition.

The male homeowner was not injured in the incident.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeants J. Burton and T. Biggs reported:

The homeowner and his wife arrived at their home at the above address and found several suspects inside.  As the homeowners entered the residence, the suspects attempted to flee.  However, one male suspect (Caballero) became aggressive toward the homeowner.  The male then picked up a pool cue and struck Caballero on the head.  Caballero was then taken to the hospital.

The investigation is continuing.
