June 18, 2012 - Houston police are awaiting autopsy results in the death of a man found deceased at 1200 Matthews about 11 p.m. last Friday (June 15).

The identity of the victim, 45, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant C. Howard and Officer R. Lujan reported:

HPD patrol officers responded to the above location to investigate a vehicle parked on the side of the street. When officers arrived, they found a white male deceased inside the vehicle. HPD homicide investigators responded to the scene and initiated an investigation.

The investigation is pending the victim's cause of death, to be determined by an autopsy.
