June 11, 2012 - Houston police are investigating the shooting of a man at 12111 White Cap Lane about 11:10 a.m. on Sunday (June 10).

The victim, Dwayne Cooley, 23, of the above address, suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was transported to Ben Taub General Hospital in critical condition.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant C. Howard and Officer R. Lujan reported:

Mr. Cooley was shot several times by unknown suspects while standing outside his house. The suspects, described only as black males, fled the scene in a black or dark colored, four door, Chrysler 300. Cooley was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The motive for the shooting is unknown at this time.
