July 30, 2012 - Houston police are investigating the fatal stabbing of a man found at 10751 Corona Lane about 4:30 p.m. on Friday (July 27).

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.  His identity is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Divison Officers J. Dominguez and I. Ulloa reported:

Officers responded to a welfare check call at the above address and entered the residence.  The victim was found face down, near the front door of the residence.  He appeared to have suffered a stab wound and was pronounced dead at the scene.

At this time there is no known motive nor suspect(s).
