February 13, 2012 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man found at 8100 Lawn Street about 5:55 a.m. on Sunday (Feb. 12).

The victim, Kelvin Johnson, 39, of Houston, was pronounced dead at the scene.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant R. A. Odom and Officer M. R. Coleman reported:

HPD patrol officers responded to a deceased man call at the above addresss and found Mr. Johnson lying in the street.  HFD emergency personnel responded to the scene and pronounced Johnson dead from several gunshot wounds.

At this time, there is no known motive nor suspects.
