December 26, 2012 - Houston police are investigating a fatal traffic accident at 7800 Rowe about 6:55 a.m. on Tuesday (Dec. 25).

The identity of the male victim, 34, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant A. Francois and Senior Police Officer R. Davidson reported:

The victim was driving a green GMC Suburban eastbound on Rowe when he drove off the roadway and into a ditch. The vehicle rolled over several times. Paramedics arrived and pronounced the driver dead at the scene. A right front passenger sustained non life-threatening injuries and was transported to Memorial Hermann Southeast Hospital.

Alcohol was a factor in the accident. There are no other known witnesses at this time.
