December 10, 2012 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 13126 Joliet about 9 p.m. last Friday (Dec. 7).

The male victim was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Officers M. Chaney and J. Dominguez reported:

According to witnesses, a black truck pulled up and parked in front of a residence at the above address. The victim, who was having an argument with an unknown suspect inside the truck, then exited the vehicle. At some point, the suspect fired several shots from inside the vehicle and fatally struck the victim. The vehicle then fled the scene.
