August 6, 2012 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man and wounding of a woman at 8429 Garland Drive about 12:50 a.m. on Saturday (Aug. 4).

The male victim, Milton Morgan, 67, of the above address, was pronounced dead at the scene. A female victim, Michelle Maseda, 36, also of the above address, was transported to Ben Taub General Hospital and remains in stable condition.

HPD Homicide Division Senior Police Officers B. Evans and J. Villareal reported:

HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting at the above address and found Mr. Morgan lying in the driveway and Ms. Maseda lying partially in the street in front of the driveway. Both had been shot. According to witnesses, a gunshot was heard and Morgan and Msaeda were then seen falling to the ground. HFD paramedics responded to the scene and transported Maseda to the hospital.

At this time there is no known motive nor suspect(s).
