April 23, 2012 - Houston police are awaiting autopsy results on a man found dead at 6500 Fairbanks North Houston about 10:35 a.m. today.

The identity of the male, 58, is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant R. Blain and Officer J. Robles reported:

Officers were called to Cole Creek at the above location on reports a deceased man was in the water.

Investigators will await results of an autopsy to determine the man's cause of death. Anyone with information is urged to contact the HPD Homicide Division at 713-308-3600.
