April 13, 2012 - A man critically injured in a fatal traffic accident at 700 Dairy Ashford about 3:15 p.m. on March 22 has died from his injuries.

The male victim, 90, was transported to Memorial Hermann Hospital where he was pronounced dead on Wednesday (April 11). His identiity is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant J. Ogden and Officer A. Sampson and Westside Patrol Division Officer R. Nguyen reported:

The victim, driving a green Toyota Camry, was traveling westbound out of a private driveway and failed to yield the right of way when he was struck by a black Dodge Charger traveling northbound on Dairy Ashford. The victim was then taken to the hospital.

The investigation is continuing.
