September 2, 2011 - Houston police have learned the identity of a female found deceased at 650 North Sam Houston Parkway East service road about 4:15 p.m. on August 19.

The Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences has identiified the victim as Korsica Shepherd, 22, address unknown.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeants A Carrillo and W. Meeler, Senior Police Officer H. Chavez and Officer J.L. French reported:

A security guard was patrolling the office building parking lot at the above location when he discovered the victim's body.  There were signs of trauma to Ms. Shepherd, who did not have identification on her at that time.
