October 31, 2011 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 11939 Bissonnet about 1 a.m. on Saturday (Oct. 29).
The victim, 18, suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Senior Police Officers D. W. Arnold and C. T. Hufstedler reported:
The victim was walking through the parking lot of the Royal Palace party hall at the above location. A beige or gray sports utility vehicle, believed to be a GMC Envoy or Chevrolet Trailblazer, drove by and several shots were fired from the driver's side window. The victim was fatally struck.
The suspect is described only as a Hispanic male, 18 to 20 years of age.
