Update: Suspect Sought in Fatal Shooting at 6047 Bissonnet
October 28, 2011 - Charges are pending against a suspect wanted in the fatal shooting of a woman at 6047 Bissonnet about 6 p.m. on Thursday (Oct. 27).
The suspect, identified as Noel Sosa-Ruiz (H/m, DOB: 2-15-70), faces a murder charge. Sosa-Ruiz is 5 feet 10 inches tall, and weighs 170 pounds. He is wanted in the death of Yodani Cruz-Rojas, 29, who suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene.

HPD Homicide Division Officers C. Cardenas, I. Ulloa and C. Porshe reported:
Ms. Cruz-Rojas was at work at the above location when Sosa-Ruiz entered the business, shot her and then fled the scene. According to witnesses, the couple, who were in a relationship and have two small children, had been arguing throughout the day.
Sosa-Ruiz drives a silver minivan, possibly a Dodge Caravan, with unknown Florida license plates. He also drives a white Toyota, unknown model, with partial Texas license plates RZ2 or RZZ.
Investigators learned the suspect is a state-certified armed security officer and has a concealed handgun license.
