October 28, 2011 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a woman at 6047 Bissonnet about 6 p.m. on Thursday (Oct. 27).

The victim suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene. Her identitiy is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Officers C. Cardenas, I. Ulloa and C. Porshe reported:

The victim was at work at the above location when a male suspect entered the business, shot her and then fled the scene.

Further investigation determined the victim and suspect were involved in a relationship and have two children.

No charges have been filed at this time, as the investigation is continuing.
