October 24, 2011 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 12600 Huntington Venture about 3:45 a.m. on Sunday (Oct. 23).

The male victim, 21, suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeants J. Brooks and C. Cegielski reported:

Area residents reported hearing several gunshots and, upon investigating, found the victim lying on the ground. They then called 911. There is neither a known suspect nor a motive in this incident.
