October 17, 2011 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 9350 Country Creek about 1:30 a.m. on Sunday (Oct. 16).

The identity of the male victim, 24, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Sgt. J. Wilson and Officer D. Gunter reported:

Two females lured the victim and his friend to the back parking lot of the West Wood Garden Condominiums. The victim and his friend drove to the rear of the complex where the victim parked his car, as instructed by the females. The victim then got out of the car and began to walk toward a breezeway area when he was attacked by two black males. The suspects struck the victim several times in the back of the head with a blunt force object and then fatally shot him in the back of the head. The friend of the victim managed to flee on foot and called 911.

The suspects are described only as two black males. One weighed about 250 pounds and the other about 150 pounds.
